Meet the team
Ronald Heijdeman – Founder (The Netherlands)
Ronald and Marjon have wisely divided the tasks within the company. Ronald is primarily responsible for sales and new business and for maintaining contact with the dealers.
Before they started the company in the ‘90’s Ronald was a photo enthusiast and worked at a photoshop. Together they founded the company and managed to set up a successful family business over the years with great joy.
Pascal Vandecasteele – Lead Ambassador/photographer and sales representative (Belgium)
Pascal has a very important function in the company. As a Belgian resident, he knows better than anyone how both the French and Dutch speaking markets of Belgium operate.
As a professional photographer, he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to photography and is indispensable at the exhibitions, webinars and demo days.
Pascal also advises Ronald and Marjon about the strategic and operational side of the company in Belgium.
Marjon Heijdeman – Founder (The Netherlands)
Marjon is responsible for the financial side and all administrative processes within the company. Marjon had a small business in fabrics and always had an eye for detail.
Woody Jansen de Lannoy – Counsel (The Netherlands)
In true spirit of the family business, Esmee's partner has joined the company as counsel. Woody is an attorney at Jaeger Tax Attorneys in Amsterdam, who litigate against the Dutch tax authorities and the public prosecutors’ office.
He acts as a sounding board to the different members of staff and per request gives the company advice on strategic, operational, legal and tax matters.
Esmee Heijdeman – Head of procurement, marketing and sales (The Netherlands)
Esmee, as head of purchasing, is responsible for the daily contact with the dealers and the expansion of the dealer network. She has already made important deals with Coolblue and is busy with other big deals.
Furthermore, she is responsible for the marketing and sales from day to day. It is intended that Esmee will take over from Ronald in due course but Ronald will continue to be concerned with the long- term goals of the company.
Leonie Ijdo (The Netherlands)
Leonie assists us with back office work such as document management, calendar and task list management.
She manages our social media and helps us to generate reports on our social media performance, including engagement, follower growth and other relevant statistics.
